Green Tea
By mixing Celtic roots with rock, jazz, folk and funk, Green Tea has built a new generation of Celtic music. With players originating from New York, Washington, Wisconsin and Illinois, this Wisconsin-based group has made a name for themselves in the Midwest and continue to astonish audiences with their dynamic and high-energy shows. The group recently supported Rusted Root at the Rave/Eagles Club - Milwaukee; performed at the Green Bay Packers 2008 Tailgate Tour; performed at the world's largest Irish Fest, Milwaukee Irish Fest, in 2006 and 2007; and headlined Wisconsin's St. Patty's Day Fest, New Dublin Irish Fest in 2008 (in front of over 3,000 fans). This group is a smash hit at colleges, such as the sold out UWSP Encore show in 2008. Plus, whistle/flute player John Coletta is one of the best "hands" players in the world. You have to see it to believe it! http://www.greenteaworldmusic.com/

Music--Pat McCurdy
Wisconsin's own Pat McCurdy is a musician who hails from Milwaukee and is finding a small but growing cult following across the country. He writes all his own songs, in a variety of styles. One person has said that it is "good drinking music." It's really kind of hard to pin down; if you have a good description, let him know. His main appeal is to the college crowd, but it is not unusual to see others not fitting this stereotype enjoying his music.
In addition to playing in Milwaukee, he regularly plays all over Wisconsin, as well as northern Illinois (mainly Chicago) and Minneapolis. Sometimes he takes roadtrips to other parts of the country; the next time he does, we'll tell you. http://www.patmccurdy.com/
