Welcome to the Fitchburg Days 2013 website!

We've concluded another Fitchburg Days.  Good food, great bands and lots of fun were enjoyed by all.  A  huge thanks goes out to all the amazing volunteers selling wristbands, beer tickets, soft drinks, pouring beer and driving the golf cart.  We couldn't possibly have Fitchburg Days without these important people.  A big thanks also goes out to the organizers of Fitchburg Days:  Steve Streck,  Jay Allen, Ryan Coleman, Dave Heide, Dana Murn, Anne Zickus, and Terri Regner.   We also want to thank all our sponsors for Fitchburg Days.  Click on the Sponsors link above to check out who these wonderful businesses were.

Friday - 2013- Fireworks, Carnival, Food, Irish Entertainment, Children's Tent

Friday will be a day of celebrating our Irish heritage with many favorite local musicians sharing their talent and love of Irish music. The afternoon starts with music by The Kissers. At 9, there will be the annual Fitchburg Days Fireworks Show – a powerful presentation that will be seen and heard throughout the city. Ending the night with a wild BANG! will be Wisconsin’s own Pat McCurdy who will be on the main stage from 9:30 to midnight. Don't forget, all three days will feature carnival rides,fantastic food and music in the entertainment tent.
The Children's Tent theme will be Family Fun Night. Activities run from 4pm to 8pm and include a reading corner, arts and crafts, children's games and face painting.

Saturday - 2013- Carnival, Food, Heartland Farms Animal Sanctuary, Music, Children's Tent

The fun continues with the carnival rides, fantastic food and music in the entertainment tent. The music on hand this year is sure to delight! At 2:30 we'll feature Kyle Henderson's Blue-Eyed Soul band. At 5:30 come join us to listen to Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo. At 8 The Jimmys - a rockin' 8-piece blues band will finish out the night in style.

Staff from the Heartland Farms Animal Sanctuary will be on hand allowing you to meet and learn about animals from noon to 4pm. Activities will include a tattoo station, trading cards and an assortment of animals throughout the day. Don't miss it!

Take time to visit the Fitchburg Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee and Resource Conservation Commission Booth. Learn about agriculture in the City of Fitchburg. Have you ever seen a tractor up-close? Here's your chance. Additionally, an agriculture bike tour will be held at 10 a.m. (arrive at 9:45 a.m.) on Saturday. The bike tour will take place on the Badger State Trail and will highlight the importance of agriculture to the City's history and identity (and free ice cream will be provided!!). The Children's Tent theme will be Children of the World. Activities run from 12pm to 4pm and include arts and crafts, children's games, and face painting. 

Sunday - 2013 - Carnival, Food, Music, Children's Tent

The fun continues with the carnival rides and fantastic food in the entertainment tent. Sunday is Handstamp Day at the carnival - unlimited rides for just $20!

At noon, come visit us to see the amazing farm animals featured by the Heartland Farm Sanctuary. See, touch, hear and smell farm animals up close!

Starting at 1 pm, the Main Stage will feature three exciting bands: the Antepasados, Post Social and Modern Mod. Don't miss out on seeing these up and coming bands!


The Children's Tent theme will be Fiesta!. Activities run from 12pm to 4pm and include   face painting, arts and crafts, and children's games.

Food

In the past year we have had the tremendous growth of fine restaurants in our community. Fitchburg Days will highlight these restaurants and their cuisine at our three day festival along with our non profit organizations and churches.

Children's Activities

All weekend long, enjoy various activities in the Children's Tent throughout the weekend, that will keep the kids entertained for hours. Free face painting and balloon animals at various times as well!
