Friday - 2010- Fireworks, Carnival, Food, Music, Children's Tent, Rainforest Animals, Kite Flying
The festival begins with a BANG! The Fitchburg Days Fireworks Show is a powerful presentation that will be seen and heard throughout the city. We've booked Replica, a classic rock band from Green Bay that features 70's and 80's great music! They start at 8:00 P.M.and continue to Midnight. Don't forget, all three days will feature carnival rides, animals from the Amazing Rainforest Experience sponsored by the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerceand, of course, fantastic food and music in the entertainment tent.
The Children's Tent features Family Fun Night. Activities run from 4pm to 8pm and include a signature wall, story time, arts and crafts, children's games, and bubble making mania.Pakeen the Clown will be on hand for his ventriloquist show and balloon animals.
Saturday - 2010- Irish entertainment, Carnival, Food, Music, Children's Tent, Rainforest Animals, Volleyball
The fun continues with the carnival rides, animals from the Amazing Rainforest Experience sponsored by the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce and, of course, fantastic food and music in the entertainment tent.
The music on hand this year is sure to delight, with many favorite local musicians sharing their talent and love of Irish music. Bands include Leahy's Luck, Rising Gael and Pat McCurdy along with the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance.
The Children's Tent features International Day. Events will run from 12pm to 4pm and include a signature wall, story time, arts and crafts, children's games and bubble making mania! People coming to the children's tent will create a flag of the nation of their ancestry and place it in the exhibit. Additionally, there will be a music and dance demonstration by the Capoeira Angola Group.
Come watch the first annual Fitchburg Fours Volleyball Tourney starting at 9:00 am. It's sure to be exciting!
Sunday - 2010 - Fiesta Hispana, Police Auction, Carnival, Food, Music, Children's Tent, Rainforest Animals
We'll be celebrating Fiesta Hispana on Sunday! The day begins with a Police Auction at 10. The fun continues with the carnival rides, animals from the Amazing Rainforest Experience sponsored by the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce and, of course, fantastic food and music in the entertainment tent. Sunday is Wristband Day at the carnival - unlimited rides for just $20!
The entertainment on the main stage features a variety of music and dancers. Join us for music by Sonidos Suaves and Madisalsa and enjoy the dancing of the Brisas de Peru and Tinkuy - Encuentro - Reunite.
The Children's Tent features Family Fun and Fiesta. Activities run from 12pm to 4pm and include a signature wall, story time, arts and crafts, children's games, and bubble making mania.
Food
In the past year we have had the tremendous growth of fine restaurants in our community. Fitchburg Days will highlight these restaurants and their cuisine at our three day festival along with our non profit organizations and churches.
Children's Activities
All weekend long, enjoy various activities in the Children's Tent throughout the weekend, that will keep the kids entertained for hours. Free face painting and balloon animals at various times as well!
Volunteers Needed
